About Us

DeAndria Owens LPC is a native of Atlanta, Ga. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Albany State University and her Master's in Professional Counseling at Georgia State University. She began her counseling career working with the substance abuse population where she served as an Addictions Counselor for young adult women. She later obtained a wealth of knowledge and experience in various other settings such as the school setting as a school-based therapist and as a mental health clinician for the Fulton County Behavioral Health Treatment Court. During her time as a clinician for Fulton County, she worked with several clients that reported trauma from their encounters with the legal system from arrests to incarceration. Hearing their experiences during individual sessions highlighted the need for counselors to be prepared for addressing these experiences that many clients may bring to sessions. Presently working in managed care full time, it is her passion to have opportunities to connect with colleagues in the field and share information that can assist other counselors.

Callie Sadler LPC has been working in the counseling field in the Atlanta area for almost 9 years. She graduated from Georgia State University with her Masters in Professional Counseling in May 2011 and became a fully licensed professional counselor in September 2014. Prior to graduate school, she graduated from Sewanee: The University of the South with a Bachelors in Psychology and Minor in Education. She has been working primarily with the child and adolescent population as well as their families. She started her career with CHRIS 180 (formally CHRIS Kids) following her internship working in the community-based mental health field. She then transitioned to a school-based mental health position in Rockdale County where she not only provided therapy to elementary, middle and high school students for four and a half years but also served as the lead school-based therapist for three of those years. Since 2015, she has transitioned into the school setting full-time as a Prevention and Intervention Behavior Specialist serving all eleven elementary schools in Rockdale County. Through her counseling experience, Callie has recognized the need for not only trauma-informed care but cultural awareness training for all clinicians. Several of her students are economically disadvantaged as well as identifying with at least one minority group, often being stereotyped or discriminated against. Her passion is to continue to collaborate with other clinicians sharing the same passion of ensuring success of the youth that have experienced any type of trauma throughout their lives.
